Conclusion

Hence, these are few of the pros and cons of Asus VivoBook S14. If you are looking for a laptop just for the looks, then you are into the wrong taste. This VivoBook S14 has a mixed feeling to it. Looking at the price, the specification looks out of the world, while the overall build quality seems to be on par. The S14 has no trouble at all taking on the daily workloads. The device doesn’t have any hiccups at all loading your favorite browser, surfing through the internet is like knife cutting through butter.

The SSD has been doing great booting the device. The display has great display and comes with anti-glare technology. The laptop runs cool most of the time, we can only hear the fan when the hardware struggles through the high-end requirements. The palmrest also stays relatively cool. Audio quality isn’t too shabby either, stereo speakers are on the bottom and have warm sonic signature, but it doesn’t have enough bass to it.

The problem starts when you require the laptop to do things more than just surfing through the web and performing simple tasks. Performing the intensive tasks like rendering videos, playing high-end games etc. It’s like it isn’t for such intensive tasks. The battery life too disappoints you when doing such intensive task. The general battery backup time is around 7 hours with general web surfing and light works. But the intensive tasks would bring it down to 3-4 hours.

The device is not perfect and it isn’t made that way either. It is there to decrease the gap between the price and the specifications provided by high-end manufacturers. The battery life could have been great but the fast charging ensures the frequent usage of the devices. Asus VivoBook S14 is great device for some looking at the pros and cons. It may not please everyone out there, but it will surely secure its place somewhere in the market.
